Curry Tuna Cakes

SIBO FRIENDLY TUNA CAKES



makes 3 cake patties | prep time 5 min | cook time 5 | total 10 min

What you will need

  • 1 can of tuna

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives ( you can substitute onions)

  • 3 tablespoons almond flour, but you can use bread crumbs as alternative

  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutritional yeast

  • a pinch of salt and pepper

optional: a dash of red chili flakes

toppings: a squeeze of lemon

Instructions

  1. Open the tuna and pour out the liquid from the can

  2. In a large bowl, combine tuna, curry powder, turmeric, nutritional yeast, 1 large egg, chives, salt and pepper and mix together

  3. Once combined, add in the almond flour and mix until it starts to form together like a dough

  4. Form mixture into patties and cook for 2 minutes each side in a non-stick pan or spray with cooking oil
